Psalm 125:1 KJV
“They that trust in the LORD shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.”
Context & Meaning
Trust in God produces an unshakeable stability, like the immovable mountain of Zion, the person grounded in God cannot be dislodged by the pressures of life.
Nahum 1:7 KJV
“The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.”
Context & Meaning
God is not merely available in crisis, He is a stronghold, an unassailable fortress. And He personally knows those who trust Him, making trust in God a relationship, not merely a strategy.
Psalm 62:8 KJV
“Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us.”
Context & Meaning
David calls for total trust, at all times, not just in comfortable seasons, and combines it with emotional honesty: pour out your heart. God can handle both our trust and our tears.

David piles up images of security, rock, shield, tower, refuge, to describe the God in whom he trusts, painting a picture of comprehensive divine protection for those who rely on Him.
