Hebrews 1:1-2 KJV

God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds.

Context & Meaning

The incarnation is God's final and ultimate communication, His Son is the definitive Word to humanity.

Matthew 2:10-11 KJV

When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy. And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.

Context & Meaning

The Magi model the appropriate response to Christ's birth: joy, worship, and costly giving.

Isaiah 7:14 KJV

Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

Context & Meaning

The sign of the virgin birth was announced by Isaiah as God's own chosen proof of His redemptive purpose.

Paul's exclamation applies perfectly to Christmas, Christ is the gift beyond human language to fully describe.

For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh.

The incarnation accomplished what no law could, the condemnation of sin through God's Son in human flesh.
